Pain Recovery & Strength Coaching - Is It For You? Ok, let’s get into the nitty gritty of what I do and who I help. I work with people who; - need a judgement-free, safe space to start their fitness and/or strength journey without fear of getting injured - have been a gym-goer for years but still have old injury niggles that won’t shift - have lingering pain and want a long-term way out - experience on and off back pain - suffer from sciatica - have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia - want guidance on building a lifestyle that feels energising, sustainable and enjoyable |
Here are the ways I can help: |
1. Fitness that works with your life, not against it Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to get fitter or stronger - whether it’s changing body composition, building muscle, improving longevity, or training for a marathon. Whatever your ‘why’ is, I’m here for it. Fitness / strength sessions take place at a location of your choice or online, and you’ll also get personal WhatsApp support throughout the week. That means you can ask questions, double-check form, get video feedback on movements, and update goals as you progress — you’re not doing this alone between sessions. 2. If pain has been your normal for too long Pain shows up in different ways - constant, unrelenting back pain, a stubborn old injury that always flares during a certain movement, or that low-level ache that just makes everyday life harder than it needs to be. It can get in the way of enjoying your life, make you avoid activities, or stop you from reaching your fitness goals. No matter the type of pain, severity, or how long you’ve had it, pain is produced the same way: your brain assesses danger and decides how much pain to generate. So our work together focuses on teaching your brain and body that you’re safe. We do this by: - Rewiring pain signals - Gradually reintroducing movements that your brain has labelled as ‘dangerous’ - Using tools that calm the nervous system - Making lifestyle changes that reduce the overall stress load on your body These sessions can be done in person or online, and they combine movement, pain reprocessing and practical habit support to create long-lasting change. |
3. Combo Weaving them both together. In our sessions, I help you build strength and confidence while teaching your brain and body that you’re safe to move again. That means we use movement that supports your goals, pain-reprocessing tools that calm the nervous system, and simple lifestyle habits that reduce stress on your body. Whether we’re easing long-term pain, rebuilding trust in your body, or working towards a fitness goal, it all happens in one integrated, supportive space — in person or online, with ongoing WhatsApp support so you’re never figuring it out alone. |
How it works 🤓: Your body is designed to move — and your brain is designed to protect you.If you’ve had pain for a while, your brain can become overprotective. It starts sounding the alarm even when you’re not in danger. In our sessions, we gently teach your brain a new story.Through safe movement, education, and nervous-system calming tools, your brain relearns that your body isn’t in danger — and gradually turns the pain dial down. At the same time, strength training builds real physical confidence: stronger muscles, more stability, and better movement patterns. When your brain feels safe and your body feels strong… pain reduces, movement feels easier, and everyday life becomes more enjoyable again.
